Nicolette Forte is a storyteller at heart, blending raw emotion with a warm, contemporary acoustic sound. With a voice that moves between soulfulness and subtle grit, Nicolette writes songs about the moments that shape us—the ones too big, tender, or complicated to speak aloud. For her, songwriting is a way of alchemising experience into something lighter, something shareable, a universal language of feeling and connection .

With over a decade of live performance behind her, Nicolette has appeared at major Australian festivals and played internationally in London, Berlin, India, and Malaysia.

Her debut EP Rescue Me received national airplay on Triple J, PBS, and JOY FM, following a sold-out launch, and cemented her as a captivating live presence with an instinctive ability to read a room and draw audiences in.

Nicolette’s sound dances between pop, folk, soul, roots, and acoustic influences, but never sits neatly inside a single box—a reflection of her creative life more broadly. If she could name her own genre, she calls it Tropicana: warm, sweet, memorable, and unapologetically itself.
